2011 Graduate Fashion Week Winners

the Graduate Fashion Week, celebrated its 20th birthday. The five new comers: Christina, Dominique, Rory, Felix Smith, Chug and Marissa Owen were the 2011 Graduate Fashion Week winners. They scooped all the top honors and prizes. Rory Long Don, from Nottingham University is a 7th annual gold award winner. The reward was worth £20,000. It was given by the sponsors. His zipped body con and matrix knits creations won high rewards from the panel members. This year, Patrick Grant and Amanda Weakley were amongst the part of the judging panel. Furthermore, the Felix Smith from Edinburgh College impressed the crowd with
his outstanding menswear.

The Marissa Owen from central Lancashire University struck a chord with her unique widow tawny. Northbrook College is also amongst the 2011 Graduate Fashion Week winners. Sussex from Northbrook College presented the textile part of the things. So, he won the Rhodes Award. The collection included lizard warrior females in heavy knits, forest greens and bodices. Designer Chug won the award for collection of jumpers and tunics with funky necks. The main attraction was the chain detailing and back neck. It even represented the 3D style. In short, Fashion Week celebrated the best of the British fashion. Importantly, the celebration had a strongglobal offering too.

The Christina and Marangoni won the international honor for her funky prints and blend of elegant cut tailoring with strong, wispy layers. During the declaration of 2011 Graduate Fashion Week winners, Emma presented £5000 Mulberry honor to Molly Rat Cliff for best accessories. The prize for women’s attire was offered to Central Lancashire University student Marissa Owen. Furthermore, Felix from Edinburgh College won the honor for menswear collection. The incredible Rhodes Catwalk Honor was won by Northbrook college student Dominique. The visionary knitwear honor won by Chug from Trent University. The international
honor was given to Christina from Paris.
